Note: The following is a list of proposed majors and the jobs to which they could lead. This list is subject to change.

A student majoring in Informatics at Indiana University will be required to take a set of courses in another subject (these application areas are still under development). By combining the study of information with an application area, students will be well suited for the careers that have emerged from the growing information economy. The following is an example of programs of study and the careers they might lead to:
