Indiana University President Myles Brand, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Judith Palmer and other administrators will be available to the media from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday (Nov.29) at Bryan Hall 200 on the IU Bloomington campus. They will discuss steps that the university is taking to deal with current and potential budget cuts related to the State of Indiana's budget deficit. Administrators will outline preliminary plans to reduce costs in light of Gov. Frank O'Bannon's balanced budget proposal, a plan which would result in about $57 million in budget reductions for IU.
