FOURTEEN IU BLOOMINGTON STUDENTS
CHOSEN AS CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARS

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Fourteen students at Indiana University recently were honored for outstanding academic achievement by Kenneth R.R. Gros Louis, IU vice president for academic affairs and Bloomington chancellor.

The Chancellor's Scholars were nominated by their teachers or deans of schools in which they are enrolled. In addition to academic achievement, the students have demonstrated "intellectual curiosity and superior potential."

The recipients, who were introduced at a recent ceremony, will serve during the next school year on an academic advisory board, working with Gros Louis. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium.
