University-wide Counseling for Faculty and Staff

The IU Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides trained counselors to university employees and their household members. The main office is at IUPUI, but EAP works in conjunction with counselors in close proximity to each IU campus. For more information, call (888) 234-8327 or visit www.indiana.edu/~ubenefit/eap.html

Indiana University Bloomington

Counseling Services: Students who would like to speak to a counselor should contact the IU Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), at (812) 855-5711.

IUPUI Indianapolis

Counseling Services: Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to help students and campus organizations. Call (317) 274-2548 or e-mail caps@iupui.edu.  The CAPS office is located in the Union Building, Suite 418.

International Students: The Office of International Affairs is available to help international students work through their emotions. Call (317) 274-7000 or (317) 274-7294 for assistance. Sara Allaei, the director of the international affairs office, can also be reached at sallaei@iupui.edu.

Indiana University East

Counseling Services: The Center for Health Promotion is open for discussion and counseling. The center is located at 2325 Chester Blvd. in Room 103.

IPFW Fort Wayne

Counseling Services: Students can find assistance at the following locations:

Indiana University Kokomo

Counseling Services: Students can find assistance at Behavioral Health Services of Howard Community Hospital. For a referral, please contact Sheryl Phillips at Career Services, Kelley Student Center, Room 200, or call (765) 455-9301. Six sessions are available at no charge to currently registered IUK students.

Indiana University Northwest

Counseling Services: Dr. Ray Fontaine and the IUN Counseling Services staff are available to help all those in the campus community. Appointments can be made by calling (219) 981-4235 or by e-mailing Dr. Fontaine at rfontain@iun.edu. IUN Counseling Services is located in Sycamore 301. Students can also contact the chancellor’s office at (219) 980-6701.

Indiana University South Bend

Counseling Services: The Office of Student Counseling and Life Skills is available for students who request such services. The Counseling Office is located in Room 130 of the Administration Building.

Indiana University Southeast

Students, faculty, and staff who need help coping with their feelings surrounding this tragedy should seek professional counseling by calling IUS University Division at (812) 941-2243 or extension 2243 from a campus phone.
