IU ceremony set for diversity awards presentation

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Several individuals will be honored for their work in support of diversity in a Monday (April 16) ceremony sponsored by the Indiana University Commission on Multicultural Understanding.
The 4:30 p.m. public event in the Indiana Memorial Union's Frangipani Room will recognize five IU community members, a Bloomington resident and a program that all made significant contributions to creating a climate on the Bloomington campus that welcomes and celebrates differences.

In addition, a special award will be presented to retiring IU Vice President/IUB Chancellor Kenneth R.R. Gros Louis for his lengthy support of COMU.
