IU'S EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM RANKED AMONG THE BEST BY BUSINESS WEEK

Oct. 29, 1999

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Business Week magazine has ranked the Executive Education program in Indiana University's Kelley School of Business as one of the 20 best in the world.

This distinction was especially noteworthy given the fact that the influential publication included executive training programs by private and nonprofit companies in its biennial survey for the first time.

The Kelley School's program was ranked 20th, after the weekly business magazine conducted a survey of corporate management development executives. It was praised for the quality of its custom-designed programs and its ability to compete with a growing competitor to university-based executive education programs, consultants.

The special report in which the rankings are discussed, in the Oct. 18 issue, discusses how technology is driving the demand for executive education and revolutionizing the way it is delivered. The article and rankings information can be found at Business Week's site on the Web at http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/exec_ed/index.htm.
