IU Home Pages receives three first-place awards from Press Woman's Club of Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- IU Home Pages, the biweekly online and newsprint publication for faculty and staff on the eight campuses of Indiana University, has received three first-place awards in the 2001 Communications Contest of the Press Woman's Club of Indiana.
IU Home Pages received the first-place honor in the following categories: writing for the Web, non-profit or educational; Web site, non-profit or educational; and public relations publication, four-color format.
The winning entries have been submitted to the annual competition of the National Federation of Press Women, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C. Awards at the national level will be announced at the NFPW conference in Indianapolis in September.
IU Home Pages, now in its fifth year of publication, is distributed in print to 17,000 IU employees. Other honors it has received include five Clarion awards from the Association for Women in Communications, Admissions Marketing Report's Admissions Advertising Award, and an award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
