Kinsey Institute at IU provides counseling for sexual health problems

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Kinsey Institute Sexual Health Clinic at Indiana University in Bloomington offers counseling for individuals and couples who have concerns about their sexual lives.
Services available include assessment, treatment and counseling for couples and individuals. "Our staff works to improve the quality of sexual life by addressing both the psychological and the physical issues that affect sexuality," said John Bancroft, M.D., director of the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction.
Bancroft said the topics covered in the clinic include loss of sexual interest, orgasmic difficulties, erection or ejaculation problems, sexual compulsion or aversion, and issues relating to intimacy, sexual orientation and gender identity.
The clinic staff includes Bancroft, Carol McCord, M.S.W., and Cynthia Graham, Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
The clinic is open to the public, and appointments are strictly confidential. Fees range from $25 to $60, with a $15 fee for IU students. The clinic is located at 600 N. Jordan Ave. on the fourth floor of the IU Health Center. Free parking is available.
