The sculpture of Herman B Wells began initially as a small clay model, which was then reproduced at 110 percent of life size. The photographs below show how this process was used to create the sculpture being dedicated Saturday (Oct. 21). Sculptor Tuck Langland, a professor of fine arts at IU South Bend, is pictured in many of the photos.
