The IU Varsity Club has released the schedule for the annual, summer IU Athletics Tailgate Tour, presented by Smithville. The 2013 tour features seven stops; six head coaches; Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass and sportscaster Don Fischer.

Major League Baseball player Scott Rolen has given Indiana University a major gift in support of IU baseball and the new stadium, Bart Kaufman Field. Rolen, a Hoosier native from Jasper, Ind., made the contribution in honor of his parents, Ed and Linda Rolen, who are longtime educators and IU fans.

Washington, D.C., will serve as the capital of Hoosier Nation this week, when the Indiana University men's basketball team continues its quest for a sixth NCAA championship. While in Washington, the No. 1-seeded Hoosiers will have the support of senators, congressmembers and even President Barack Obama, who last week picked IU as his tournament favorite, as they prepare for their NCAA Sweet Sixteen tournament matchup on Thursday, March 28, against Syracuse University.
