The IU Black Play Lab is seeking participation from scholars and practitioners of Black theater and performance for this summer's mini-conference. Unusual uses of technology to be showcased during ArtsWeek 2007

The creative melding of the arts and technology, which has impacted such traditional arts at Indiana University Bloomington and the city of Bloomington as dance, fine arts, music and theatre, will be the focus of ArtsWeek 2007, the annual campus-community celebration of the arts. An American masterpiece: "The Crucible"

Indiana University Bloomington's Department of Theatre and Drama presents one of America's greatest plays and a powerful example of how the theatre reflects and reacts to the society around it. Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play, The Crucible by Pulitzer Prize-winner Arthur Milleropens in the Ruth N. Halls Theatre on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. and continues through Nov. 11 and 13-18. IU teams up with Cardinal Stage to present Havel comedy 'Unveiling'

A scathingly funny comedy by dissident Czech playwright turned president Václav Havel is the focus of an upcoming campus-community collaboration. On Oct. 19, Indiana University's Office of International Programs and its Russian and East European Institute (REEI) will join forces with Bloomington's Cardinal Stage Company to present Havel's Obie Award-winning comedy Unveiling.   Full Story >>
