Nel Noddings, professor emeritus at Stanford University and author of seminal works in educational theory and philosophy, will make a presentation titled "Happiness and Education" at the Indiana Memorial Union in Bloomington on Thursday (Nov. 19) from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be in IMU's Oak Room.

Alina Fernandez, the outspoken daughter of former Cuban President Fidel Castro, will speak at Indiana University Bloomington Nov. 18, 7 p.m., in the Indiana Memorial Union's Whittenberger Auditorium. Her free, open-to-the-public talk is part of IU's International Week and is presented by the Indiana Memorial Union Board and co-sponsored by La Casa.
