McRobbie to move quickly on tuition, budget

Passage of a two-year state budget by the Indiana General Assembly on Tuesday has triggered the tuition- and budget-setting process for all Indiana University campuses. IU President Michael A. McRobbie said Wednesday (July 1) he will move as rapidly as possible with a goal of bringing proposed tuition rates to the Board of Trustees in mid-July.   Full Story >>

IU informatics students head to Egypt for international Microsoft competition

Two Indiana University School of Informatics graduate students -- Feixing Tuang and Yujia Zhao -- are bound for Cairo, Egypt, to solve some "wicked problems" at Microsoft's Imagine Cup, a global challenge focused on finding solutions to real-world issues that this year drew over 300,000 student competitors.   Full Story >>
