Kuali Foundation has announced the release of Kuali OLE 0.3, a milestone in open-source software development that addresses the functional needs of higher education research libraries for managing information resources. Public access to Indiana's historic Sanborn maps provides treasure trove of information

Considered a treasure trove of American history sought after by genealogists, urban planners, sociologists and a gamut of other researchers, Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, first created beginning in 1867 for assessing fire insurance liability for buildings in U.S. cities, are now available to the public for more than 300 locations in Indiana.   Full Story >>

IU Trustees approve tuition discount for summer session students

The Trustees of Indiana University today (Oct. 28) approved a plan, unveiled earlier this week, to significantly reduce undergraduate tuition for summer session students beginning in 2012. The vote occurred during a special board meeting at the IU Bloomington campus.   Full Story >>
