Indiana University Opera and Ballet Theater at the Jacobs School of Music has announced its spring 2012 live streaming schedule. IU Jacobs School of Music Distinguished Professor Violette Verdy to receive New York City Ballet award

Violette Verdy, distinguished professor of ballet at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, will receive the 2011 Jerome Robbins Award on stage at an all-Robbins New York City Ballet evening at the David Koch Theater Sept. 30. Ballet at the BCT to present new choreography from IU Ballet Department

Just weeks after its spring ballet production in the Musical Arts Center, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Department of Ballet presents its annual "Ballet at the BCT: The Choreography Project" April 19-20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in downtown Bloomington.
