Indiana University's Marching Hundred will perform a pre-game show for fans in the stands at Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, Feb. 5, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Everyone is invited to attend the Marching Hundred's practice from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at IU's Mellencamp Pavilion.

The Indiana University Wind Ensemble, from the Jacobs School of Music, has been invited to perform at the 78th Annual Convention of the American Bandmasters Association. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in Clowes Memorial Hall on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis.

Indiana University's famed Marching Hundred will perform at one of the nation's most-watched sporting events: Super Bowl XLVI. The band will perform as part of the pre-game entertainment during a network commercial break at the championship event, played this year at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 5.

Indiana University's famed Marching Hundred has taken a significant step toward its goal of constructing a new practice facility, thanks to a recent commitment of $1 million in a planned gift from university alumnus Col. Jack I. Hamlin (BS '43) and wife Dora. The Hamlins met as students at IU, where Hamlin was first chair cornet in the Hundred and captain of his ROTC band unit.
