Beginning this fall, Indiana University students will be able to rent their textbooks and save more than 50 percent off the price of a new textbook.

Indiana University Bloomington will celebrate its 180th Commencement on Dec. 19 (Saturday) in a 10 a.m. ceremony in Assembly Hall. The procession of students will begin at 9:15 a.m. The Honorable Robert M. Gates, U.S. Secretary of Defense, will deliver the commencement address.

Indiana University Bloomington will not host a 2008 U.S. presidential or vice presidential debate. The nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates today (Nov. 19) announced the selection of sites for three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate, and two alternate sites. IUB was not one of them.
