In tribute to Myles Brand, CLEAR fellow will lecture on end-of-life care

George P. Smith II, a visiting fellow at Indiana University's Center for Law, Ethics, and Applied Research in Health Information, will deliver the center's first public lecture in tribute to his late friend, former IU President Myles N. Brand. The lecture is titled "Managing End-of-Life Care: Medico-Legal, Social, Ethical, and Philosophical Challenges," and will be presented on Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend, inside the Maurer School of Law's Moot Court Room.   Full Story >>

CACR announces its 2011-12 Security Seminar Series

Indiana University's Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research begins its annual Security Seminar Series today (Sept. 1) at noon. "Running for more than five years, our annual speaker series includes distinguished scholars, established practitioners, and other leading voices in the field of cybersecurity," said CACR Deputy Director Von Welch.
