The Indiana University Health Center has achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), the largest accrediting organization in the ambulatory health care field. With this successful accreditation the IU Health Center has been distinguished from many other ambulatory care facilities by providing a safe work environment and the highest quality of care to its patients.

Many first-year students will arrive at Indiana University Bloomington this week ready to party but without experience in setting limits. To help ensure they don't get in over their heads, IU student-services offices are offering a taste of "Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll."

Indiana University Bloomington Health Center officials today (Dec. 15) announced that reservations were no longer needed for priority group members to immediately receive H1N1 vaccines, and that all IU employees and students would be offered the vaccine free beginning Dec. 21.

Indiana University Bloomington's H1N1 Clinic will be administering vaccines next week, Dec. 7-9, at Assembly Hall. An additional 860 vaccines are available to be administered to eligible recipients who may still make reservations for Dec. 8-9.

Indiana University Bloomington students and employees who made an advance H1N1 vaccine reservation for Week 1, Week 2 or Week 3 of the vaccination program will be vaccinated by Dec. 9.

Indiana University Bloomington has received an initial supply of 980 doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine from the Indiana State Department of Health, enough for students and employees who reserved vaccines for Day 1 (Monday, Nov. 16) of Week 1 in IU's online reservation system.
