At Indiana University's 2011 IU Student Involvement Fair, new and returning IU students can join and partner with student organizations, local non-profit agencies and IU offices and programs. This year's fair is scheduled for Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Indiana Memorial Union hotel parking lot near Woodburn and Ballantine halls. More than 250 student organizations, local non-profit agencies and IU offices will host tables at the event.

The Indiana State Budget Committee today (April 15) authorized Indiana University to proceed with construction of the IU School of Medicine's $45 million Neurosciences Research Building on the IUPUI campus.

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie and Provost Karen Hanson will preside over the 2011 Bloomington Honors Convocation Sunday (April 10) at 2 p.m. in the IU Auditorium. They will salute IU Bloomington Founders Scholars, high-achieving students who have earned cumulative GPAs of 3.8 or higher, and other outstanding undergraduates who have distinguished themselves in scholarship, leadership and service.
