Indiana University wins national grant to launch project on Islam

New strategic plan to result in broader IU presence throughout the world

Indiana University today (Dec. 6) unveiled a new strategic plan to improve the global literacy of its students and faculty and strengthen the university's position as a leader in internationalization. The plan calls for increased student and faculty participation in study abroad and international service learning programs as well as the development of strategic international partnerships that support overseas study, global research and the recruitment of international students.   Full Story >>

IU strengthens ties with Zhejiang University in China

Indiana University and Zhejiang University, one of China's leading universities, held their first-ever joint symposium focusing on university research commercialization and technology transfer and involving senior leaders of both institutions. In addition to the symposium, IU and Zhejiang formally strengthened their partnership by signing a new agreement that renews for five more years an agreement first signed in 1982.   Full Story >>
