Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie will participate in a three-day trip to the Republic of Macedonia beginning Friday, Nov. 18. As part of the trip, he will help celebrate the 10th anniversary of South East European University, which IU played a major role in establishing and continues to support through various partnership activities.

McRobbie on Nov. 9 awarded the President's Medal for Excellence to Vice President Emeritus Patrick O'Meara, who, over the past two decades, guided the university's activities around the world and helped raise its international profile. The President's Medal is one of the highest honors an IU president can bestow.

Representatives of international student offices from across the United States will come to Bloomington this week for the first annual Sunapsis User's Conference. The software system Sunapsis was developed in the Office of International Services and provides a state-of-the-art solution for advising international students and scholars.
