Leah Buechley, the "High-Low Tech Group" director at the Media Lab of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will give a free program called "How will Technological Artifacts Impact Society?" from 10-11 a.m. in room 102 of the School of Fine Arts, 1201 E. Seventh St., in Bloomington.

The exhibition opens Friday, May 1, at 8 p.m. in the vacant storefront adjacent to Rachael's Café (300 E. Third St., southeast corner of Third and Lincoln streets), and the exhibition will be open for viewing Saturday, May 2, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"One Moment," opening Oct. 17, comes to Bloomington from the Thomas Robertello Gallery of Chicago. Thomas Robertello is a concert flutist and an associate professor at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. A lifetime passion for contemporary art -- and a knack for discovering new artists early in their careers -- inspired him to open the gallery in Chicago about two years ago.

Dolinsky holds a dual appointment as an assistant professor in the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University Bloomington and as a research scientist in the IU Advanced Visualization Lab (AVL).
