"While we greatly regret the necessity of budget cuts of this magnitude, it remains essential that we implement them in ways that preserve and protect the quality of our teaching and research missions at Indiana University," said McRobbie. "However, no one should underestimate the very serious challenge that this deep cut represents nor the impact it will have on IU's broader contributions to the state."
