Beginning in fall 2009, students will be encouraged to fulfill 60 hours of pro bono work during their three years of schooling.

Both Middle Way House of Bloomington, Ind., and the school's Protective Order Project will use the proceeds to continue providing services to local victims of domestic abuse.

$69 million Lilly gift to increase excellence of law, music schools http://newsinfo.iu.edu/news/page/normal/7026.html Wed, 12 Dec 2007 09:00:00 EST Indiana University President Michael McRobbie announced today (Dec. 12) that Lilly Endowment is giving the IU Foundation two major gifts, totaling $69 million, to secure the international standing of the IU Jacobs School of Music, provide its world-class music faculty and students with a state-of-the-art studio facility and propel the IU School of Law-Bloomington to the upper echelon of public university law schools.
