Gordon named finalist for Team USA's Olympic roster

Indiana head football coach Kevin Wilson announced Jan. 3 that Seth Littrell will join the Hoosier staff as offensive coordinator. Thanks to the efforts of the Indiana University Department of Athletics, the Indiana vs. Purdue men's and women's swimming and diving dual meet will be shown live on the Big Ten Network at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21. The legendary "Voice of the Hoosiers" Don Fischer has been named Indiana Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association for the third straight year. It marks the 26th time in Fischer's 39-year-tenure as Indiana University's football and men's basketball radio play-by-play man that he has been recognized as the state's top sportscaster. Matt Powless wrote his name into the Indiana Wrestling Record Books last Friday (Jan. 13) night, notching the 111th win of his career. That total cracks the school's all-time top-10, pulling him even with Kevin Stanley (1997-2001) for 10th most wins. The milestone victory came in a losing effort for the Hoosiers (6-3, 0-3 Big Ten), however, who dropped a 33-6 dual at No. 9 Michigan (4-2, 3-1). Full StoryPrevious Issue
