Online polls now open for IU Trustee election

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Online voting for Indiana University's annual election of an alumni representative to the IU Board of Trustees is currently underway and continues through Wednesday, June 30.
Complete information about the election, including candidates and how to vote online, is available at https://alumni.indiana.edu/about/election/.
This is the third year that alumni are casting votes online. Paper ballots were only sent to IU graduates who requested them.
Online voting will continue until 1 p.m. (EDT) on June 30.
IU alumni elect three of the nine members of the IU Board of Trustees. Trustees selected by alumni serve a three-year term. Since alumni-elected trustees serve rotating terms, alumni vote for one each year. There are seven candidates in this year's election.
For the purposes of the election, persons who have been awarded a degree, including an associate's degree, by the trustees of the university as recommended by the faculty are eligible to vote.
