Fall sports off to strong start

IU fall sports programs in Bloomington are off to a remarkable start in 2009. Currently, there are three Indiana teams ranked in the nation's top 25 and the department has a combined record of 24-6-1 through Thursday, Sept. 17. Several student-athletes have won weekly accolades from the Big Ten and various national publications.
"These early successes are a testament to the quality of our coaches and to the character of the young men and women that they have chosen to represent Indiana University," said Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass.
