Media advisory: IU law professor to answer questions online about H1N1 vaccine

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- David Fidler, a professor at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law-Bloomington and a leading expert on global health and international law, is answering questions online today (Oct. 27) for the Washington Post about the shortage of H1N1 flu vaccine.

The live question-and-answer session starts at 11:45 a.m. and can be seen at washingtonpost.com. Questions are being submitted by e-mail, and Fidler will provide answers on the Washington Post Web site.

Fidler is the James Louis Calamaras Professor of Law and director of the IU Center on American and Global Security. In addition to his expertise on international law and global health, he is an internationally recognized expert on biosecurity threats posed by biological weapons and bioterrorism, the international legal and policy implications of "non-lethal" weapons, counterinsurgency and rule of law operations, and the globalization of baseball.
