BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana retail stores are adding some new merchandise -- and favorite old memories -- to their shelves today (Oct. 14) with the launch of Indiana University's Limited First Edition of the IU Vintage Vault Collection.
The Vintage Vault Collection celebrates IU's rich history by unearthing art and designs from a different decade each year, beginning this year with the 1960s. From Ox the Bulldog to the Hurryin' Hoosiers to the frequent Dunn Meadow "love-ins" that punctuated the decade, the inaugural collection features nine distinct images from this tumultuous time period, all plucked straight from the IU Archives.
An overview of the collection and background information on each individual image selected for the 1960s collection is available at IU's Licensing and Trademarks Web site at http://iu.licensing.indiana.edu.
