A press conference to announce the host city for the 2006 National Science Olympiad will take place at 10 a.m., Monday (Nov. 7), at the Sallie Mae Corporate Offices, 11100 USA Parkway, Fishers., Ind.
The president of the IU Foundation, Curt Simic, and IU's co-director of the National Science Olympiad, Jocelyn Bowie, will provide remarks. Sallie Mae will be represented by June McCormack, executive vice president.
Following the press conference, employees from Sallie Mae will go head-to-head with students from Indiana University in a brain-teaser game. The Science Olympiad draws 3,000 students from across the country to participate in the annual tournament.
