IU extends Knight litigation deadline
Indiana University officials agreed today (Oct. 11) to a one-week extension of the litigation deadline pertaining to former men's basketball coach Bob Knight. Knight was terminated from employment at IU on Sept. 10, 2000.
In September 2002, the university granted a one-month extension of the deadline.
"We're still in discussions, and it's in everyone's best interests for those talks to continue for a week," said Dorothy Frapwell, IU general counsel.
