H1N1 Flu (swine flu) Teach In at IU Bloomington on May 5

WHAT: Influenza A (H1N1) Teach In with campus and community public health and medical experts
WHERE: Room 125 in the IU School of HPER, 1025 E. Seventh St., Bloomington
WHEN: May 5, 2 p.m.-3 p.m.
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University will conduct a Teach In on May 5 to share with the campus and Bloomington community the latest information about Influenza A (H1N1), also known as swine flu.

The teach in, co-sponsored by the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation and IU's Center for the Study of Global Change, will include the following speakers:

The speakers will discuss the swine flu in both a global and local context. They also will discuss local preparedness efforts and best practices for avoiding infection and staying healthy. People in attendance will be able to ask questions and light refreshments will be provided.
