John Beeson appointed 2010-11 ICCE president-elect

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- John Beeson, executive director of external relations for the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies (SCS), was recently appointed the 2010-11 president-elect and program chair for the Indiana Council for Continuing Education (ICCE).

As president-elect, Beeson will work with current ICCE president Ron White, executive director of IU Bloomington Continuing Studies.

"I respect everything Ron White has done to expand services to adults seeking learning and training opportunities," said Beeson. "I am looking forward to working with him and other members of the Indiana Council for Continuing Education to broaden membership in the organization, and to enhance its services."

The IU School of Continuing Studies is a distance education provider offering more than 170 undergraduate courses, more than 100 high school courses, two undergraduate degrees in general studies (both available online), an online graduate degree in adult education, a high school diploma, and professional development and custom training opportunities.
