IU Bloomington admissions hosts event for Bloomington faculty, staff

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Feb. 1, 2011

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A Closer Look @ IU is a new event hosted by the Office of Admissions to provide an exclusive preview of Indiana University Bloomington for university employees and their high school freshmen, sophomores or juniors on Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Indiana Memorial Union Georgian Room. Pre-registration is required.

The event will present information beneficial to students and parents starting the college search and selection process. A Closer Look @ IU also will highlight the amazing activities and opportunities that are a part of the IU Bloomington experience. Specific topics covered will include admission requirements, financial aid and scholarship information, the fee remission program and other benefits for employees. Attendees also will get a glimpse of student life from current IU students and take a special student-led walking tour of the campus.
