IUPUI Diversity Cabinet to meet in June

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 2, 2011

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Diversity Cabinet will meet on Wednesday (June 8) from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the IUPUI Greenwood Learning Center, 555 E. County Line Road, Suite 104, Greenwood IN 46143.

The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
