Media advisory: IU President McRobbie to make major announcement related to college affordability

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie will make a ground-breaking announcement Monday afternoon (Oct. 24) related to the university's ongoing commitment to providing an affordable college education and to reducing the length of time it takes students to earn an IU degree.

Joining McRobbie for the announcement, which will be held on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus, will be Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers. Both McRobbie and Lubbers will offer brief remarks and will be available for questions immediately afterward.
