BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The series ended in October, but fans have one more chance to quench their Entourage addiction.

Doug Ellin, the man behind Entourage, will give students a behind-the-scenes look at the series at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, in Alumni Hall at the Indiana Memorial Union. He will speak and answer questions about the Emmy-nominated HBO series he created, wrote and produced that spanned eight seasons.

Sponsored by Union Board, the event is free and open to the public.

"This is a great opportunity for the IU student body to get an inside look at the hit show Entourage from the creator's perspective," Union Board Lectures Director George Thomas said. "This is an extremely timely event since the ever-popular show just ended in October and a movie is in the works. I feel student Entourage fans will be thrilled to hear what Ellin has to say."

Ellin created Entourage with Mark Wahlberg and Steve Levinson. The show, based on the trio's experiences in Hollywood, was nominated for Golden Globe and Emmy awards during its eight seasons.

Ellin's post-Entourage work with HBO includes the pilot Forty, which will star Ed Burns. He also created Da Brick, based on Mike Tyson's life, in collaboration with Spike Lee and John Ridley.

The Indiana University Memorial Union Board is the largest programming body on the Bloomington campus, organizing events and activities such as concerts, lectures, debates and film screenings.
