Background:

  • Was principal bassist with the Dallas Symphony.
  • Has been on the faculties of the University of Michigan, Southern Methodist University, Eastern Michigan University and the Interlochen Arts Academy.
  • Has taught and presented numerous clinics in Costa Rica, China and Canada.
  • Current president of the ISB, chair of the American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition, and a member of the board of directors of both ASTA and the International Society of Bassists.
