Background:
Jaffee's research interests include public utility regulation, taxation, exclusive distribution territories, the economic development aspects of sports, energy policy and industry regulation. Jaffee has had international teaching experience in China, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. He serves on the board of directors of the Indiana University Credit Union, one of the nation's largest university-based credit unions, and on the faculty of the state utilities forecasting group.
From 1989 to 1997, he was chairperson of the Department of Business Economics and Public Policy. From 1980 to 1984, he was chairperson of the doctoral programs in business.
