Timothy T. Baldwin

  • Ph.D. in Business Administration at Michigan State University, 1987

Background:

Baldwin's research focuses on effective human resource management and particularly within the areas of management development and in small business. His published research has appeared the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, Training and Development Journal and Human Resource Development Quarterly. He has won several national research awards including three from the National Academy of Management.

Baldwin has taught numerous classes in both the Kelley School of Business' MBA and undergraduate programs, including human resource management, organizational behavior, human resource development, compensation and developing management skills. He also is a one of two faculty directors of the MBA Sports & Entertainment in the Kelley MBA program, and supervises a select group of MBA students with a passion for that industry sector.

His background includes corporate experience with American Hospital Supply Corp. (now Baxter Healthcare) in Chicago, Ill., and consultation with Cummins Engine Co., Eli Lilly and Co., FedEx, Marathon/Ashland, Whirlpool and other organizations in both the public and private sector.
