Martin Spechler is an expert on the comparative economies of Eastern and Western Europe and the impact they have on the politics of all of Europe. He is also an expert on Russian imperialism, the economic history of Tsarist Russia, and on the Israeli economy and its potential impact on the Middle East. Spechler is the author of "Perspectives in Economic Thought" and many articles on the Soviet Union and the impact of its actions on world economics and politics.
