Sherry Ricchiardi teaches a course called "Race and Gender Issues in the Media." She travels frequently to Croatia and has covered some of the war there for a number of U.S. newspapers. Ricchiardi obtained a grant from the International Newspaper Fund to help fledgling Croatian newspapers and is co-author of the book "Women on Deadline," profiling current leading women in newspaper reporting.
