Research in the Caroline Jarrold group involves the application of mass spectrometry, anion photoelectron spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations to a wide range of chemically interesting systems. Among her many projects, Jarrold is looking at how best to configure solar cells that drive the generation of hydrogen fuel (H2, hydrogen gas) from water.
