- Author of numerous internationally published articles and the book "The Bulgarian Jews and the Final Solution."
- Has traveled extensively for research and educational purposes in Austria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, and the former Soviet Union; and lived in Bulgaria for several months on four separate occasions.
