Background:

Theodore Widlanski is interested in the development of artificial nucleic acids, sugars, lipids, and a variety of enzyme inhibitors that may be of therapeutic value to humans. His research covers other areas of biochemistry, including enzyme action and inhibition, as well as signal transduction, cell transformation and metabolism.
