IU and Purdue Company Working on Life Sciences Project

Purdue University startup company Prosolia Inc., based in Indianapolis, is partnering with Indiana University Bloomington to work on a new life sciences project. The two will develop an atmospheric pressure glow discharge for direct analysis of samples under ambient conditions. The project is funded through a Small Business Technology Transfer grant by the National Institute of Health. Chief Executive Officer Pete Kissinger says, "this is an example of what the Indiana Innovation Alliance is all about."
