IU East adding informatics degree
Discipline offers students technical, analytical skills

The bachelor of science in informatics, or information technology, will provide students with technical and analytical skills that can be applied in areas including new media, Web technology, health services administration, business and bio-informatics. "It's been one of the fastest-growing disciplines at IU, if not the fastest," IU East Chancellor Nasser Paydar said.
