The artwork will be moved from the Dubois Library, located at 1835 Broadway in Gary, to IU Northwest's Moraine Student Center prior to the awards reception, which is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The "Fusion of the Arts" exhibit includes works in multiple mediums, including colored photography, etching, oil and sand on canvas, mixed media, found objects, charcoal, digital photography, ceramic, bronze and wood sculpture, and watercolor. This is the second year for the "Fusion of the Arts" juried show, which was created as a way for the community and summit participants to experience the art of the Northwest Indiana region.

The Regional Arts Summit is sponsored by the CRE, South Shore Arts, the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. It provides members of the campus community with an opportunity to engage with the arts community in Northwest Indiana. CRE was established at IU Northwest to foster learning, scholarship, discovery, creativity and service in the areas of cultural discovery and learning, and sustainable regional vitality, in collaboration with the communities served.

The Dubois Library is open Monday through Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
