WHAT: Spanning a time period from the Bronze Age to the 20th Century, the "From the Steppes and the Monasteries" exhibit "offers a tantalizing glimpse of the arts of Tibet and Mongolia, whose practice of Buddhism has joined them together at key moments in their history.

Nature and Nurture

WHERE: Indiana University Kinsey Institute Gallery, Morrison Hall, Bloomington
WHAT: "Nature and Nurture" is the first exhibition from The Kinsey Institute to highlight its collection of art books, and other materials on the subject of human reproduction. The exhibition uses fine art photographs, paintings, prints, sculptures and books to illustrate pregnancy, birth, child rearing, development of gender identity and parent/child relationships.

Mini Medical School brings Indiana University School of Medicine specialists to the public
WHEN: Oct. 12, 7-9 p.m.
WHERE: Location varies by date, but all events are in Indianapolis:

WHAT: The four weekly sessions (one remaining) are open to the public and will include discussions of patient-physician communication, acupuncture for cancer patients, a primer on tools and tips for working with individuals with autism and a hands-on training experience at the Simulation Center at Fairbanks Hall, a training faculty for students and medical personnel.

'Legally Blonde The Musical' making debut appearance at IU Auditorium
