"We are really excited for the season," said Legette-Jack. "I am really thrilled by the leadership of Jori Davis, Whitney Lindsay and Andrea McGuirt, and Hope Elam is doing a great job of following in that leadership role. I love the size that we have this year. I love the energy. We had picture day today and usually it takes us about 30 minutes to take team pictures, but for some reason this year it took about an hour and a half. That shows a little bit of personality and character, and our hope is that we display on the court this season."

Davis, a 5-9 guard from Rochester, N.Y., enters her senior campaign as an All-America and All-Big Ten candidate after averaging 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game to earn Second Team All-Big Ten honors from the league's coaches and media. She enters this season ranked 19th all-time in scoring with 1,021 career points.

The Hoosiers will host their first exhibition game on Tuesday, Nov. 2 when they welcome Alaska-Anchorage to Assembly Hall at 7 p.m. ET. After a second exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 6 vs. Indianapolis, IU will open the regular season at Ball State on Friday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. ET and will open the home slate on Monday, Nov. 15 vs. St. Bonaventure at 7 p.m. ET.

Fans can purchase season tickets by calling the IU Ticket Office at 1-866-IUSPORTS or by visiting IUHoosiers.com.
